Do you need directions?
Driving from Schiphol takes roughly 45 minutes. The quickest route would be to take the A4 towards Amsterdam and then the A10 to Amsterdam Noord. From Amsterdam Noord you will head towards Zaandam on the A8 and then take the A7 to Purmerend. We are located on the Gedempte Singelgracht 18. You can set your car down on Kanaalstraat to drop off your luggage before parking your car.
To reach us with public transport you will have to take the train and bus and will take roughly 45 minutes. The cost of the travel is roughly; €10,-
From Schiphol airport train station, take the Sprinter train (Hoorn Kersenboogerd) towards Purmerend Weidevenne. Once you have reached Purmerend Weidevenne you will need to exit the train and hop on the bus right outside the station (Purmerend, Canberrastraat) and take the 125 bus to Purmerend, Gedempte Singelgracht 18. The bus stops opposite our hostel.
Remember to grab your OV travel card from the station before you travel.
We are located just outside Amsterdam and easily accessible from each direction. To be honest you cannot get lost. Use our postal code 1441 AP, Purmerend. We are located on Gedempte Singelgracht 18.

Unfortunately we do not have on site parking. However we can recommend some parking options for your car.
The closest option is to park down the side of our hostel in Kanaalstraat parkeerplaats. Parking costs €2,50 per hour and €7,50 for a day ticket Monday to Friday. Parking is free from 21:00 until 09:00 and all day on Sunday.
Claxonate parking is located at the end of our street on Schoolplein 9 and costs €1,60 per hour. The maximum stay is 3 days. Claxonate parking is approximately 10 minutes walking.
Alternatively Q-Park Eggert parking is located in the city centre, Willem Eggert Centre and costs €12,00 per 24 hours. It is approximately 15 minutes walking to our hostel. Don’t worry, you will pass plenty of terraces on your way for a ‘pit stop’ drink!
